About
One feature of science that fascinates me the most is the strange similarity of basic precepts that rule over its various fields. That is why I always have aspired to choose interdisciplinary fields of study and research – be it my undergraduate degree in power plant engineering, masters' thesis in combustion, or my doctoral dissertation on magnetic fluid transport. My research has taken several turns cutting across the fields of energy engineering, microfluidics, heat transfer, combustion, wettability engineering, or even mathematical modeling of biological systems. As mother Nature makes no divide in her repository of intriguing phenomena, I believe, research also has no specific discipline.
